Jeff Whisman became a Christian as a child through the influence of his family.  He grew up in Massachusetts and studied electrical engineering at the University of Massachusetts at Lowell.  After working as an engineer for a short time he responded to God’s call on his life to work with people rather than circuits for God’s kingdom.  Pastor Jeff went to Denver Seminary and obtained a Master of Divinity degree in 1995.  While there he married May, who is from Taiwan.  Since then, they have worked in Chinese American churches in southern California and New Jersey.  

Pastor Jeff enjoys mountain biking, basketball, sci-fi movies, good discussions, and hanging out with May.

Ian Ma became a Christian as a teenager - just before he left Hong Kong to come to the United States.  He studied fine arts at the University of Hawaii and, after working for several years in the graphic design industry, heeded God's call to further his ministry training.  He obtained a Master of Divinity degree from Gordon-Conwell Theological Seminary in 1993 with an emphasis in youth ministry.
